Grand Pianos
A grand piano is any piano in which the strings run away from the keyboard, parallel to the floor. Grand pianos are categorized by their length: baby grand, concert grand. The size of a grand is measured from the front of the key slip (the wood strip in front of the keys, closest to the performer) to the farthest end of the curve at the other end of the piano.
